You shall find the resolution to your problem in the image attached below. I have placed three coloured dots on the given map, as requested by the exercise.

The real life location for Hogwarts is Alnwick Castle, located in the North-Eastern part of the United Kingdom, which is where the green dot was placed.

As for the other two, these are fictive locations and as a result, we may find out where they are placed by reading the Harry Potter book.

The book tells us that Beauxbatons Academy of Magic is located in Southern France, which is where the blue dot was placed. And the Durmstrang Institute is located in the Northernmost regions of Norway or Sweden, which is where I placed the red dot.
