The computer games are a way to learn new things, a way to spend your time and a good way to learn English.
The first game ever on a calculator was maked by Alexander S. Douglas in the late of 1952. He was going to get his doctorate at the Cambridge University. To get the doctorate he need a program, so he maked a "game". Well this game
it was a batlle between the calculator and the Human. The game was called Noughts and Crosses (x si 0) or what we know today : Tic-Tac-Toe. 

Douglas Alexander S. game became an immediate success, while being the first true demonstration of the potential of artificial intelligence.

From his idee many companies have developed special consoles to rule games. The first consoles that were made was : Magnavox Odyssey, Atari 2600, NES, etc.
After them, high companies developed ather consoles. This time with better graphics, better sound, story, backgrounds, etc. That's how the Play Station 1 appeared. It was a big succes. It was selling over 100 million systems.

By watching this high developed game consoles and their games, IT people said that it will be nice if we could run games on PC. So in 1971 Andrew S. Grove invented the micro-processor Pentium 1. This was the first step of the evolution of computer games. The Pentium 1 PC's could run games like : Alladin, Prince of Persia (1 and 2), The Lion King, Prehistorik (1 and 2) and many others.

That's the story of computer games. At the first time it was something special, something unexampled. Now, it's our way to spend our time in the front of the monitor.
