To my opinion, today electronic sports involve much competitivity and addictive play simultaneously. There are various video game genres, including fighting games, real-time strategy games, dancing games, sports games and first-person shooters, of which some can be addictive and some others imply deep thinking strategies. Video games have been so popularised since 1980 that attracted thousands of players and top athletes. Nintendo could be such a game. The development of internet technologies allows millions of players to experience the excitement of electronic sports on their gaming devices. I believe that the more passionate a gamer is, the more addictive he can become and play everlasting hours in e-sports tournments.

On the other hand, there is a great selection of Mind Sports that can also be played competitively and they have also been included in important International Festival playing schedules. These include Mah-Jongg, Bridge, Backgammon, Draughts and Risk.
