Compared to countrys like Finland Romania's education system is way outdated. We remained somewere 150 years ago and Romania isn't the only contry that has this problem.
First of all, I did some research and found out that schools were made to teach people to work in factories. That makes sence now, they put us in straight rowes, nice and neat, they said to raise our hand if we want to speak, gave us a short brake to eat and for 7 hours told us what to think. But the world has progrest and now we need people that think creatively, inovatively, criticaly, independently. We don't need to create robot zombies no more.
I understand, we all had a past, but so much has chaneged and the system needs to do it too. A teacher stands in front of 30 kids, every one of tham having different needs, different minds, different dreams. A scientist will tell you that no tow brains are the same and every parent with tow or more kind will confirm that claim.
Think for a bit, if a doctor would prescribe the same exact medicine for all of his patience the results would be tragic, but that is the exact thing that's happening here.
People usually blame teachers, but they are heroes working in a system with to little options and writes. How can the people with the most inportant job in the world be under paindied? They determin the future of our nationation.
Curriculums are made by policy makeres, that are obsesed with standardized tests. Do they think that bibbuling in a multichoice thest will determin succes? Even the creator of standerdized tests said, and I quote "This tests are too crude to be used and should be abandoned".
In conclusion I didn't find any proes for this subject, it needs lots of inprovemend and it needs it now. I don't have much faith in the school system but I do have faith in people. Togheder we can make a chanege.
