Last winter, I lost my skates! I went out to ice-skate with my friends, and somehow returned without them. I was so angry about this, I was going to spend my winter break without skating.

The day after, very early in the morning, I went back to the ice-skating rink, and looked everywhere for my skates, but they were nowhere to be found. I started asking the staff there if they saw my skates, and to my surprise, they had no idea where they were. Not long after, I gave up on looking for them. I began going home, but before that, I gave the rink one more glance; there they were! After so long of looking, my skates were next to a trash bin. They were dirty and trashed, but I was glad that I found them again.
