People like to belive that the modern world is a magical and wonderful place. But in reality, as with most everything we humans do or create, there are so many issues that the rest of society ignore. The modern world is hateful, and I hate every bit of it.
Hate. What does it mean? A word that gets thrown around too often. They say we use it too strongly. But show me someone who doesn’t hate the world, and I’ll show you a million more who are ignored by society, left homeless, dying and malnourished, as the more fortunate go about their business. When did society become so selfish?
People only think about their next post on the internet, and how many likes they will get, and to dress like their ‘idols’. Since when have we invested all our time and energy into staring at 5-inch pieces of metal? Technology commands that we must look a certain way, be a certain weight and be perfect all the time. And don’t even think about trying to be different-society will just shut you out, try to pretend you don’t exist, make you feel like you don’t belong. Why do we feel the need to put others down just because they dare to be themselves? It’s messed up, stupid, and we would be so much better off without the restraints of technology.

We have it all wrong, we prioritize the wrong things. There is so much suffering around the world that goes unnoticed every day-it's almost as if we live in a different world. The only thing that keeps me sane is the few good people that will always try to be of use. We must stop hating on people who dare to speak out, who dare to make a change, who dare to be different. It’s time for a change-radical change.
