2. Ivan Turbinca is my favorite character and it's also the main character. He is sly but also good-hearted.
3. Other characters may be Scaraoschi , the king of jitters and Vidma, the servant of death. Scaraoschi thinks he is better than anyone else but after Ivan puts him in his turbinca and beats him up he calms down. Same for Vidma.
4. The story is a funny story and the message may be to be kind.
Ivan meets God and Saint Petre by a bridge disguised as beggars and Ivan gives them the last money he has. In that moment God gives Ivan a wish and he wishes to put anyone he wants in his turbinca and God accepts.
5. Yes. Ivan tricked death(Vidma) 2 times in a row and lived forever after all.
