Physical appearance

It’s what’s on the inside that counts. That has been a common moral that was to justify things should not be easily judged by their outward appearance. This goes to show how our society tends to emphasize importance of physical appearance. I realized that how you look really affects the opinions of others about oneself so I became interested in aesthetics. My interest for it was not meant to be shallow, because I believe there is potential beauty in everything despite having favorable physical features or not. This mentality was gained through my natural sense of empathy for others and my own struggle for self-confidence. I struggled with skin problems that affected the way I felt about myself and being around others.
