Halloween or called Samhain is an old Celtic tradition. People used to get dressed as ugly and scary monsters to scare away the evil spirit and make a feast with a big fire. In the 19th century irish immigrants brought it to America and also at that time the tradition of pumpkin craving started.Children go trick or treating for candies. For people of different religions this day may have either good or bad meanings. Halloween is also associated with the "Day of The Dead", the day of the year where the gates of the world of the dead open and the two worlds collide.
