It was a boring day of February

And we’ve been friends for centuries

The weather was nice and we’re all merry.

Still, we’ll soon take different paths

We were too young to think like that.

But when the flowers were in bloom

My heart felt the sudden gloom.

We chased like crazy for that bug,

Red and striped and crazy

Will you remember my last hug?

The one in February…

I did, and it felt warm and cozy.
