The other day I saw a very nice movie, named after him: Nine Lives. Who is said to have nine lives? About cats, of course, so expect a movie with lots of cats. In reality there are not so many and we will focus on only one, but very very nice. However, cats are known for their cuteness. Here, then, is a film that seems to have the recipe for success. I will tell you more about him in the following review. The film brings to the fore the brilliant businessman, Tom Brand (Kevin Spacey). An extremely busy man, but also with many ambitions. Among his ambitions, the biggest one was to build the tallest building in North America. He was almost ready, still a little, and would become the man who holds this trophy, but what do you think? The competition never sleeps. Attempts were also being made in Chicago to build such a monumental building, but Tom Brand did not want to hear of a failure. For him, the building had to be ready in time and be the tallest. Her project manager had other plans. Money mattered more to him, not Tom's foolish ambition. His plan was to list the company on the stock exchange and get rich.Tom's biggest problem, however, was not this building, but the family. His family was always neglected, he put work forward and missed many important moments with his loved ones: his wife Lara (Jennifer Garner) and his little girl Rebecca (Malina Weissman). Luckily, Rebecca's day was approaching and she could make up for it. What do you think she wanted for her birthday? Exactly one cat and one real toy. Now, who hated cats? Just Tom, so you realize he was in big trouble. Pressed by time (as always) he will go to the nearest pet store to buy him a cat. Here, the cat tamer (Christopher Walken) is quite cryptic with him and tells him to be careful how he gets to his daughter's birthday. He deviates from the road, and after an accident he wakes up captive in the cat's body. Well, that's where the fun begins. Imagine a man who hates cats, being caught in the body of one. I leave it to you to discover for yourself how Tom endured as a cat, if he managed to erect the tallest building in North America, but also if he returned to his body, all going to the movies.
