Give your opinii of the following statele "True love never die"

The statement can be considered true, but only to a certain extent.
First of all, how could you know what is true love? You can't, you can only go by guessing, assuming you "found the one". Let's say, you think you found your prince charming on a white horse or the damsel in distress you wanted. Of course, you will do everything in your power to not let him or her go. But what if, they never leave, but they were never your true love? Maybe because you concentrated so hard on the person that you thought it was your other half, you ignored the rightful person.
And there's another posibility. What if your true love doesn't think you arehis other half? It would be a one-sided love, a bitter remorse left by the feeling you are unloved by your sweetheart.
To add salt on the open wound, true love may never die (in the happy case where true love truly (haha) exists), but humans aren't immortal. And true love cannot live if there aren't souls anymore to share it or others to witness it. 
All in all, I think that the phrase "true love never dies" is a tad bit extreme, not mentioning controversial in every sense.
