I think that the statement "health and environment go hand in hand" is true. An argument for this is the fact that your health actually depends on the environment you are in and if it is polluted. For example, if the air in your environment is not clean, you will have a hard time breathing and may even develop serios diseases. Another example is the fact that if your ocean is polluted, and you eat seafood originating from there, you are unconsciously eating the plastics that those have digested. There are many more examples to support this theory.
