Have you encountered situations when you have been treated with disrespect?How did you react to them?

I have often encountered situations where I have been treated with disrespect and it is very annoying for me. I usually get very mad but also sad because people who disrespect other people don't care about the feelings of that person. But I don't react in any way, I just try to ignore it because responding back makes you the person you're fighting with, so the wisest option would be to act calmly and move on.
