Dear Andrew,

    Hello from Vatra Dornei! I am writing to tell you all about my trip to the mountains.
    This morning, my parents and I thought it would be a good idea if we went hiking this weekend. Even though on a Saturday morning I usually wake up, have breakfast and like to read a bit before starting my homework, this time I had to prepare my rucksack and fill it with everything I need to go up the mountain.
So, after a 4-hour drive, we arrived in Vatra Dornei and started our walk through the forests of Rarău. This is something different than what I do at this time of the day the rest of the week because at noon I am at school listening to my teachers and taking notes.
This time, I got to see all sorts of pine trees, squirrels, listened to birds sing and enjoyed this beautiful walk through nature's wonders. At this moment, we finally arrived to Pietrele Doamnei and we are having a nice picnic at the top of the mountain.
It's just lovely to be able to see the world from up here, a totally diffent point of view. It is also a nice change from what I do in the evenings which is come back home from school, have dinner and start my homework or watch a documentary.
I love weekends because they give you this opportunity to do something out of the ordinary.

I hope that next time, you and your parents will join us too and then you will fully understand what a joy it is to be trekking through the forests.
