THE FIRST HUMAN ON MOON
Neil Armstrong (born August 5, 1930, died on 25th of 2012) was an American astronaut, pilot and pilot of the naval pilot, known as the first man to step on the moon.
His first flight. In this mission he executed the first docking of two spacecraft, along with pilot David Scott. Armstrong's second and last space mission was the commander of the Apollo 11 landing mission in July 1969. In this famous "giant step for mankind," Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin descended on the surface of the Moon and carried out a mission exploring for two and a half hours directly on its surface, in monthly costumes, during which the third crew member, Michael Collins, was in a capsule in orbit around the moon. After 21 and a half hours on the lunar surface, the Eagle took off and enrolled in the lunar orbit where it hooked up with Collins' command and service module.
He was passionate about flying at an early age and obtained the pilot license at the age of 16. In 1947, Armstrong began his aeronautical engineering studies at Purdue University with a US Navy scholarship.
His studies were interrupted in 1949 when he was called to serve in the Korean War. Armstrong flew in 78 combat missions during this military conflict. He left the service in 1952, and returned to college. A few years later, Armstrong joined the National Aeronautics Advisory Committee.Neil Armstrong will remain in the history of the world.
