While it's a good a idea in concept , it cannot be applied because of all of the cultural and historic differences between the countries and their languages. For example, some languages have specific words to refer to specific things, while others don't. That can be quite an issue.

Even if everyone spoke the same language, it isn't guaranteed that the number of conflicts and wars in the world would decrease, since it's not language that started these to begin with.
