Dear Mr. Principal,

over the Weekend I have read the inspection report on our school available on the internet site of the Ministry of Education. As a student of this school I think I know the positive but mostly the negative aspects of our school. I like learning at this school and I think the teachers are very motivated and interested that the learning process is of a good quality. However, I can only subscribe to the shortcomings listed in this report.  

I was very happy to read that the school has received some funds to address some of these shortcomings and I would like to propose some constructive solutions to address the respective issues.

First of all, I would invest the money in organizing some clubs where the students can meet after school for extra curricular activities. I think that by bundling the students together based on their interest, they will see the school as part of their free time and as a partner who helps them pursue their interest. Some suggestions regarding the areas of interests would be as follows: cooking&gourmet club, environmental&animal protection, social media&internet, computer programming, social communication&politics, etc.

Second, I would invest part of the funds in organizing field trips where the students can see the outcome of the learning process in real life. Here it would be very stimulating for the learning process if the students can see how a factory is run, how food is produced and what are the current environmental challenges for the planet.

Last but not least, I would invest another part of those funds in performant teaching equipment and professional development of our teachers. I think if the school will offer competitive benefits (non-monetary) in training and equipment, their results will be even better than the ones we are showing today. Here I would go as far as to say that our teachers should be supported and encouraged to visit schools in other countries or participate in exchange groups with teachers from all Europe.

Hopefully I have made some constructive proposals to improve our school.
