I have a best friend. His name is Joe,but everybody calls him Joey. Joey and I have been friends for a long time.
That's the problem, Joey likes to smoke. He says he does not but I know he does. He tries to hide it from me, but I see him do it sometimes. When I see him do it, he just laughs and walks  away.
Now, Joey smokes every day. When he comes over to my house, he always brings his cigarettes with him. He keeps them in his pocket. He thinks they are cool. He does not think it's a bad idea to smoke. He says " Don't worry Al. I'm okay."  He tells me that I don't understand, but I think I do.
I feel like it's his right smoke. He can do what he wants to do, right? But I can't help worrying. He's my best friend.

Buna. Numele meu e Albert. Prietenii imi spun Al. Daca vrei poti sa-mi spui Al daca-ti place. Vreau sa-ti povestesc despre o problema pe care o am. Nu e o problema mare, dar nu este nici o problema minora, desi cred ca e undeva intre mare si minora. Am un bun prieten. Il cheama Joe, dar toti ii spun Joey. Suntem prieteni de multa vreme. Problema e ca lui Joey ii place sa fumeze. El zice ca nu fumeaza, dar eu stiu ca fumeaza. Incearca sa ascunda de mine, dar il vad uneori fumand. Cand il vad fumand, el doar rade si pleaca. Ei bine, Joey fumeaza zilnic. Cand vine la mine acasa, intotdeauna isi aduce tigarile cu el. Le tine in buzunar. Crede ca sunt grozave. Nu crede ca fumatul e o idee proasta. El imi zice: “Nu te ingrijora, Al, sunt in regula”. Imi zice ca eu nu inteleg, dar eu cred ca inteleg. Am impresia ca are dreptul sa fumeze. Poate sa faca ce vrea, nu-i asa? Dar nu pot sa nu ma ingrijorez. E cel mai bun prieten al meu.
