Lies should be usually avoided due the fact that they can break friendships , lifetime relations ever. But if you discover a friend has told a lie, first of all , you should ask the reason behind it then try to understand that certain person as much as you can. IF the situation is difficult, then you should make things clear with that person that he had done something wrong and he should apologize.
