First you would have to meet someone to guide you if you want to come to visit Roumania and you, how you've been learned, would be polite with the person who would guide you. :o3

You would say Buna ziua! for Good afternoon! if you would arrive at that time.
If you would arrive at night you would say Buna seara for Good night! or Buna dimineata for Good morning!

If you would want someone to help you you would say:

Buna! Ma scuzati, a-ti putea sa ma ajutati cu acel lucru? ---> Hello! Excuse me,could you help me with that thing? :3

I'm new here, i come from England, so could you give some directions for the nearest hotel/ bathroom ( toilet)/ taxi cab,please ? ---> Sunt nou/noua pe aici, vin din Anglia, asa ca ai putea sa-mi dai cateva indicatii pentru cea/cel mai apropiat/a  hotel/baie (toaleta publica)/taxiuri?
