Parts of Australia have very hot climate. in the summer, people and animals often suffer in the hot weather. When it's very hot, stay in the shade and drink lots of water. And dont forget your dog - it will get thirsty too, so give it water.

There is also a big risk of sunburn, so put on suncream. If your skin is red, put on a shirt.

Be careful on the beach. If there is a danger sign, you shouldnt swim in the sea. Always swim between the flags. And be careful if there are jellyfish in the water. Their sting can hurt!
