My friend's birthday is very close and I am thrilled. But even if there is less that a week until then, I stilldont have a present for my friend. She is a very tomboyish girl, she likes sports and soccer, and I a not very alike. She listens to rock'n'roll but i cannot stand it, prefering to listen to metal or hard rock. I am imagining and hoping i am not the only one in this situation. I think I will go to the mall before her party and get her something. But if I will run short  on time, then I am not sure how I should react. I am not very good under pressure, not very good in a crisis. If i would be put in the awful situation of having to pic her something great in a short time, I would for sure panick. I believe that, aftel a while I would calm myself a little and I would enter the first Music shop I could find and get her one or more expensive albums I hope she would like. She could become a little music geek sometimes, and so do I. But in that absurd case that I couldn't find the albums or something, I believe I would spend a lot of money on a gift card. I think that bday presents have to be expensive if you know you will not totally please the person receiving them.

If I had only half an hour to choose a present for my friend's birthday, I would certainly go to the 1001 articles and look for something that is linked with our friendship or with him. For example; our friendship is based on sincerity; I can search for a magnet that has a quote for sincerity. Or you can simply buy something that you know he would like to have or something that he would buy in the first place. If none of these helps, you can go with other alternatives. Buy something that he will surely use or do something with it; you can buy sweets or chocolate, that works everytime.
