it snowed and rained heavily last winter and THE river near our house burst OUR banks. The fields and streets around us were soon full of WATER. The watee did not reach our house but it reached some houses IN our town. SADLY .......
John wakes up at 7am because he must be at school by 8:00 am but school doesn’t start until
8:30 am.
He has a shower and brushes his teeth. Then he has breakfast
and puts on his clothes.
John’s mother tells him to brush his teeth and comb his hair.
‘’But I have already brushed my teeth’’ says John.
“Well, you must learn to brush your teeth after breakfast and not
before breakfast” says his mother.
“OK, I will brush them again” John says.

many new friends at the new school and he will miss his old friends.
“Don’t worry, John” says his father. “You can still visit your old friends and I’m sure you will
make many new friends in your new school”.
At 7:30 the bus arrives to take John to school. He says goodbye to his mother and father who
help him put on his coat and hat because the weather outside is cold today.
