Dear friend,

I hope this letter finds you well. I wanted to catch up with you and tell you about some of the things that have been happening in my life lately.

First of all, I got a new job and I am really excited about it. I am working as a graphic designer at a small firm and I am loving it so far. I am learning new things every day and I am surrounded by a great team.

But, the real news I wanted to share with you is something that happened to me last week. I was walking home from the park when suddenly I saw a big dog running towards me. At first, I was scared and didn't know what to do, but then I remembered that I had read that dogs can sense fear and it can make them more aggressive, so I tried to remain calm and still. To my surprise, the dog approached me and started licking my face. It was such an unusual experience and I was completely taken aback. I stood there for a moment, not knowing what to do, and then the dog's owner came and called him back.

I was really shaken up by the whole experience, but also grateful for the reminder that animals can often sense when we are in need of comfort. I am still in disbelief that a dog I had never met before would approach me in such a friendly way.
