It was my first time in the jungle and I was so excited. I had the chance to accompany an expedition in the Amazon jungle, expedition trying to find and explore new species of insects, plants and animals. My father was one of the botanists in the expedition. As I was the youngest member of the expedition, I was always one step away from my dad. I had to be carefull and not to touch anything before asking permission. I saw incredible animals and birds in their environment, I even smelled wild orchids and I brought home some leaves of the most common small plants in the jungle. Despite all the restrictions, it was ther most amazing period in my life. I'm sure I'll remeber this expedition my whole life.
Era prima dată când mergeam în junglă și eram atât de emoționat. Am avut sansa sa insotesc o expeditie in jungla amazoniana, expeditie incercand sa gaseasca si sa exploreze noi specii de insecte, plante si animale. Tatal meu a fost unul dintre botaniștii din expediție. Deoarece eram cel mai tânăr membru al expediției, am fost mereu la un pas de tatal meu. Trebuia să fiu atent și să nu ating nimic înainte de a cere permisiunea. Am văzut animale și păsări incredibile în mediul lor, am mirosit chiar și orhidee sălbatice și am adus acasă câteva frunze din cele mai comune plante mici din junglă. În ciuda tuturor restricțiilor, a fost cea uimitoare perioadă din viata mea. Sunt sigur că o să-mi amintesc aceasta expeditie pentru tot restul vieții.
