The much-anticipated sports match between our school and the neighboring school was finally held last Saturday. Despite the hot weather, both teams played their best and the match was neck-and-neck throughout.
Our team started off strong, scoring the first goal within the first few minutes. However, the other team soon equalised, and the score remained 1-1 until half-time.
In the second half, both teams fought hard and there were several near-misses. Just when it looked like the match was going to end in a draw, our striker scored the winning goal in the last minute of the game!
The final score was 2-1 to our school, and the whole team was ecstatic.
It was a great match and a great day out for all involved. We can’t wait for next year’s game!
