Shadow, my furry kitten

I have always wanted a pet and since I was little I had a thing for cats. A few days ago my father came home with a big box with holes which he was holding with a lot of care. He put the box on the kitchen table and called me downstairs. When I got there I expected him to ask me how I spent my day or if I could go and buy something but instead he took the box and placed it in my hands telling me to be careful with it. When I put it down and opened it what I saw inside left me breathless. Inside the box was curled up and snoring a really tiny kitten It had black fur with a few white patches. I looked up at my father and he said to me that this was my Easter present. I don't remember what my reaction was but since then all I do all day long is to play with my little ball of fur. I decided to call my baby cat Shadow because of it's beautiful dark fur and because the doctor said it's a boy. Shadow it's really playful but also sleeps a lot and in the most awkward times. I remember that yesterday afternoon I was playing with Shadow and I turned my back for a second to turn on the TV and when I turned around to face him again he was sleeping pacefuly and snoring softly. Shadow's favourite food is fish, specificaly tuna but he doesn't want to eat chicken. Right now, while I am writing my homework Shadow is sleeping in my lap. I can't wait untill he wakes up so we could play more. I love Shadow, he is the best kitten.
