It's almost the end of September, school has recently started and the sun hasn't lost his power to caress the flowers in the green gardens. Pupils are rushing happily to schools, they haven't received marks yet so they are still enthousiastic about the begininng of the courses. The parks along the Copou road are full of retired persons walking down the peaceful alleys, chatting, sometimes holding hands as they used to do when they were young, sharing memories and new hopes. The fresh air energizes them. You hear them talking about the successful stories of their sons or daughters, about the good qualifications of their grandchildren. After the lunch time, the Copou hill suddenly gets crowded, as the pupils get back home to do their homework until the evening time, when they finish it and go out with friends to play or chat and take advantage of the last warm days of autumn.

Este aproape sfârşitul lui septembrie, şcoala a început de curând şi soarele nu şi-a pierdut puterea de a mângâia florile din grădinile verzi. Elevii se grăbesc veseli spre şcoală, n-au primit încă note, aşa că mai sunt entuziasmaţi de începerea cursurilor. Parcurile de-a lungul şoselei Copou sunt pline de pensionari care se plimbă pe aleile liniştite, conversând, uneori ţinându-se de mână ca atunci când erau tineri, împărtăşind amintiri şi speranţe noi. Aerul proaspăt îi energizează. Îi auzi vorbind despre poveştile de succes ale fiilor sau fiicelor lor, despre notele bune ale nepoţilor lor. După ora prânzului, dealul Copou se aglomerează deodată, pe măsură ce şcolarii se întorc acasă să-şi facă temele până seara, când le termină şi ies afară cu prietenii să se joace sau să stea la taclale şi să profite de ultimele zile calde ale toamnei.
