In my free time, like many other people, I like to watch movies. But I take his choice seriously, not wanting to spend time watching a meaningless movie product. I don’t have a favorite genre, but still try to bypass the melodrama and tend to adventure and action. I saw many pictures, but one of the most favorite was the series "Peaky blinders." I met him from the pages of historical books. The series was created in the spirit of the twenties of the last century, when bandit groups moved with impunity through the streets of London, Winston Churchill was the Prime Minister, and England was secretly controlled by the mafia from the government.
The series tells us about the Shelby mafia family, where the main character is the older brother Thomas. Thomas Shelby is a charismatic, influential, somewhat cruel, but fair hero. Together with his family of three brothers, a sister and aunt, he runs a family business and monitors the peace of his native Birmingham. Residents of this town respect Thomas, cherish and imagine their government, sometimes placing Shelby and his own group above the king. But, nevertheless, people are also afraid of him, because they certainly do not know what this person wants to do at the moment. He is dangerous, but devoted to his country and the people to whom he promised his defense. Shelby is the man of the word, but what kind of word he already sets.
The film perfectly conveys the spirit of England of the twenties, helping the viewer to get used to this atmosphere and literally feel it. Perfectly matched actors fit incredibly accurately into the roles. The notes of the detective and the crime drama are kept in suspense until the end of the series. In the series there are dozens of strong moments from which the blood freezes in the veins, and tears appear in the eyes. Such moments cannot be described in words. As if you yourself are experiencing all this.
