Batman is one of the greatest heroes in my opinion. He fights off with the bad guys without having any sort of great super power, like most of the other super heroes do. Also, he was once able to put Super-man down, even though Super-Man is known as a very powerful super-hero. Not only he's pretty strong for a man with no great super-powers, but also he's very smart, that's why he has defeated Super-man. His plan was straight to the point, attack him with kryptonite, which makes him weak and very easy to beat.
He is also in justice league. Justice League is a super-hero league, in which there are super-heroes helping people. Batman himself is part of the Justice league along with Flash, Super-Man, Wonder-woman, Poseidon and others.
Together they make a really powerful team and with Batman's ideas, Super-man's force, Flash's speed, Poseidon having the ability to control the sea, they, combined with all the other heroes from Justice League make a really powerful team which can't be defeated very easily.
