Kindness is one of the most beautiful virtues that a person can have, because it enriches his heart and brings him closer to God and His Grace. Being kind is such a rare thing to find nowadays, when everybody seems to be on a rush, forgetting about other people, feelings, promises and the little things that can enlighten one”s day. Being kind is cost-free and unlimited, because not only do we help other, but we mainly help ourselves survive in a world swallowed by pride, greed and bluntness. Humankind”s foremost concern should not be the progress consisting of technological development, but the progress coming from our behaviour and the relationships that we establish with the others. Kindness is one of the means by which we can reach that rate of progress; instead, we are fooling ourselves that we are evolving whereas we are surrounded by solitude, rudeness and inconsistency.
