What is success? Success is something you build on your own, with the help of others.
It sounds strange, but as much as people aspire to build careers or lives on their own, there will always be other people to jump in in a positive or negative way. 
Talking about jobs, of course, we grow on ourselves. Everything that happens around us, every promotion is there because we made it be and we worked, but remember that time your colleague passed you the coffee, helped you print out some papers or covered five minutes of your shift? That's help. It helped you be where you are now, so whatever you have done so far, you weren't alone.
Some people view success as the ability of building a family. It's pretty self-explanatory how you cannot do that on your own.
In other words, success is being capable of co-existing, growing and enjoying life.
