Tourist Regions in Romania

Romania is a beautiful country with a rich various relief. It actually has all forms of relief: high mountains, hills and plains, the amazing Black Sea coast and the treasure of Europe: the Danube Delta.

One of the most visited regions is the Black Sea coast. Romanians and foreigners have preferred this region for the large beaches, for the healthy sea breeze and, of course, for amusement. The most important resorts situated in this region are: Mamaia, Neptun, Olimp, Costinesti, Jupiter, Eforie etc.

Some tourists prefer to go to the mountains, either for trips, or for relaxing in the fresh air. Resorts like Sinaia, Busteni or Predeal in the Southern Carpatians attract many vistors.

Spending some time in the Danube Delta is a fantastic opportunity. It is the largest European delta and it is so well preserved. Tourists have the chance to see endangered bird species, such as pelicans.

Many foreigners often choose to visit the group of Moldavian monasteries (Voronet, Sucevita, Molgovita, Agapia or Varatec) or the group of wooden churches in Maramures.

Romania is a beautiful country and lovely sceneries, it clearly deserves to be visited.
