If-ul (tradus "daca") se poate inlocui cu "were", "had" si "should", ca sa se puna mai mult accent pe ideea principala.

Cand folosim "were", el e si verbul, deci nu mai putem pune decat subiectul dupa. Ca sa iti dai seama cand pui "were", cel mai usor e sa te gandesti daca merge inlocuit cu "If + Subiect + were + restul constructiei" (vezi exemplu 1).

Cand folosim "had", ne uitam sa avem tipul 2 sau 3 a conditionalei.

Cand folosim "should", are mai mult efecte pentru viitor (tipul 0 sau 1 al conditionalei). Totodata, nu vom mai avea v2, ci v1 (vezi exemplu 3).

Exemple (subliniat este verbul):

Were I you, I would not get involved (varianta uzuala: If I were you...)

Had I known, I would have said something (varianta uzuala: If I knew...)

Should you see (deci v1) him again, walk the other way! (varianta uzuala: If you see him again...)

Pe tema ta avem:

E cam greu de explicat sincer. Trebuie doar sa sa vezi structura si dupa vei sti sa o aplici. "Were", spre exemplu, folosesc foarte rar, in situatii limitate ca si cea din primul exemplu. Cele principale sunt "should" pentru tipul 0 si tipul 1 de conditionale, iar "had" pentru tipul 2 si tipul 3 as spune.
