Knowing as many languages as possible can only be an advantage as we make our way towards our goals. First of all, someone who can speak more than one language can actually understand a lot more of what the world has to offer. It has been said that a person who knows only one language can only live one life while others who have learned at least another one can have a different perspective on a foreign culture because language acts as a key decoding a whole different way of life. There are many situations when being able to speak more languages fluently is very useful. For example, people who travel often may navigate more easily and accomplish their tasks more efficiently if the language barrier is no longer an issue. Moreover, languages can act as a tool to make friends from all over the world and it has been shown to improve memory and reasoning skills. The world we are living in is slowly but surely becoming a global one so mastering more languages can also improve chances of finding a better job or starting a stronger business. In conclusion, languages are definitely keys that unlock different doors each with a fascinating world behind that is just waiting to be discovered.
