First, read these situations.
1. Mick was walking in the park when he saw an old friend, Sue.When Mick say Sue, he stopped and talked to her.
2. Tina was waiting at a bus top when she saw an accident.When Tina saw accident, she phoned the police.
3. Bert and Harry were driving home when their car broke down . When their car broke down, they walked home.
Now asl and answer: What was/were...doing when...? and What did...do when...?
Example:
1. What was Mick doing when saw Sue? - He was walking in the park.
What did he do when he saw her? -He stopped and talked to her.
