i liked surfing and beaches were great , but i was lonely because I didn't have any friends. One afternoon , i walked up the street behind our hotel. Suddenly there was a big brown dog in front of me. It looked at me with angry yellow eyes and I became nervous. Then an Italian girl came down the street. '' It's OK'' she said to me. She shouted some words in Italian , and the dog went away.
the girl's name was Chiara , and after we became good friends. That was 6 years ago , but i still write to Chiara and our friendship is verry important to me.
