While a student in Paris, Romanian Petrache Poenaru invented the fountain pen, which the French Government patented in May 1827.

A pen is a common writing instrument used to apply ink to a surface, usually paper, for writing or drawing. The ink of the pen is pressed onto paper and dries very fast.

It is a tool used by the brain, hands, and the imagination to copy and physically transform lifeless ink into expressions of our minds and hearts. A pen helps us to find our voice. Pens have become one of the most important parts of our life.

There are different colors of pen with different colors of ink to write creative handwriting.
