My favorite rock band is Pink Floyd. I find them the best because their music has a very original sound and their lyrics have deeper meanings than most well-known, recognized poetry out there.
Their musical style is considered a mix of progressive and psychedelic rock as well as art rock and experimental.
They were founded in London, 1995, by Roger Waters, Syd Barret, Nick Mason and Richard Wright. Their formation charged several times during the band's activity and it also included David Gilmour amongst them. Their history is very complicated as the members went through an exhausting amount of difficulties caused by arguments between each other, legal actions, deterioration of mental health, drug abuse and fame. What must be remembered is that their talent as philosophers and musicians is undeniable.
My favorite albums are Ummaguma, The Wall, A Saucerful of Secrets, Division Bell and Meddle. I recomand this band to anybody trying to discover something unique.
