Global warming is the phenomenon of continuous increase of the average recorded atmospheric temperatures in the immediate vicinity of the soil, as well as of the ocean water, observed in the last two centuries, but especially in the last decades. Global warming phenomena have always existed in the history of the Earth, they being associated with the cosmic phenomenon of solar maximum, these alternating with small terrestrial glaciations associated with the phenomenon of solar minimum.
If the observed warming phenomenon is almost unanimously accepted by scientists and decision makers, there are various explanations for the causes of the process. The prevailing view is that human warming is due to activities, in particular by releasing carbon dioxide into the atmosphere by burning fossil fuels.
