My day as a dolphin: I always start my day with a stunning view of the sunrise. My family and I watch it every single day because it is gorgeous in this part of the world that humans call Indonesia. Being warmed by the gentle touch of the sun is a true blessing. I think humans call it sun tanning. After these enjoyable moments, my mom, my dad and I search for breakfast in the depths of the ocean. I learned from my dad how to catch fish the quick and easy way and now my mom is very proud of me. When this feast is over, we start riding the waves in search of tourist boats that come especially to see us jump and do tricks in the water. This happens around noon and is my favourite part of the day because I get to make new friends. Humans are nice most of the time. I love it when they scuba dive and come swim with us. Their tails are kind of funny because they do a bad job at helping them swim the right way. I laugh my heart out all the time but hey, at least they are trying their best to imitate us. Silly humans! But I still love them because they bring delicious herring snacks for us every day. So this is our lunch. Around seven o'clock everyone is tired and we need to head back home to meet my friends. We practice our songs and then prepare for bed. My room is made up of colourful seashells that reflect light and it's like sleeping with the stars. I just love my family, my ocean and my dolphin and human friends and hope to live peacefully as long as we are together.
