1)Near Cracow, in southen Poland, is the Wieliczka Salt Mine.
2)When Kinga's servants dug a well at Wieliczka. Instead of watter, salt was discovered and in the first lump of salt which was taken out, Kinga's ring was found!
3)Before 1620 salt was removed by hand.
4)The constant damage affected the minners by they was killed or injured.
5)The miners started to carve sculptures from the rock salt because in 1697 a chaped was destroyed by fire so the miners were not allowed to take wooden statues in the mine.
6)The Chapel of the Blessed Kinga was near Wieliczka Salt mine.
7)Underground the caves u can see enormous chambres, pretty green lakes and chapels with beutiful carvings.
