Leonardo da Vinci is still well known troughout the world, well beyond his death, as an extraordinary man because of his persuits in science, art and writing as well as for the important discoveries he brought upon the world.
He, to many, was the ideal man, having a fair balance between looks and knownledge, he was also one of the father of the scientific method because of his sheer amout of curiosity, intelligence and open-mindness.
He'd been so exceptional that saying "he was the best human there was" would be an understatement.
