Hi Betty and John!
I trust my thank you letter will find you both well and happy and that little Mary is going on well in her first grade. It seems like yesterday that I was living in your comfortable Brighton house. I will never forget your warmth and generosity. Neither will my parents. That's why we urge you to come next summer to Romania to spend a month in our country house in Bushteny (The Logs Town). You have to take Mary with you. She will learn Romanian quite fast, she's at that age when foreign languages have no secrets for kids. There's plenty of room there and we'll wait for you at the Otopeni Airport. From there, we'll drive through some wonderful but crowded landscapes and we'll be in Bushteny City in no time.
I hope she will make the same progress as I did. You'll be glad to know that, having spent a month in England did wondes to my vocabulary and listening sills. I was able to take the CAE with flying colours. Thanks you again, I owe you so much.
