2. What is missing it's the word has been (correct: Arsenal has bean defeated by Aston 2-1).

Why? Because we make the passive with the verb be in the tense that we require, followed by the past participle.

In our case we use present perfect, because it's a heading.

3. Bolton has been beaten by Chelsea (1-0).

We observe that the subject (the one that does the action) Chelsea goes on the back of the sentence, and the object comes to the beginning of the sentence. The focus is now on what happend and not on who did it.

4.Paul Wilkinson has been injured during the Chelsea vs.Bolton match.
