today, the Hyacinth live in the tropical rainforets and swaps of Brazil, Bolivia and Paraguay. the macaw eats seeds, nuts , fruits and vegetables.
the Indigo macaw is the most endagered. there are only 130 birds and they live in Bahia and Brazil. it is a large bird, 75 cm, deep blue with yellow marking around the eyes. the most important problem of this bird is the shortage of these nuts.
most of the macaw are endagered by illegal hunting for foods and feathers as well . for this reason there are very expensive. in recent years , there have been a number of progammes aimed at increasing the numbers of the macaw fiind in the wild.
