Meg, is writing to her parents ,that are away to take care of their grandmother. She says that her sisters are taking good care of the house,are working around it, doing all their parents told them to do. Laurie, their cousin, is watching over them like a mother and making them loughing and smiling. All the children are missing their parents and they hope that they come back soon.
