Dear Paul,
I have just returned from the summer holidays and here I am writing to you about it.
First of all, I joined my classmates and we went to the Black Sea accompanied by our teacher of Maths. We slept in tents at night and in the rest of our time we sunbathed in the sun and we swam in the sea. It was a lot of fun, because we played all kinds of funny tricks to each other.
Then, I left with my parents to the city of Iaşi. The accomodation was great, the villa had also a pool and a beautiful garden hidden behind some fir-trees, so when we were not visiting the city, we swam and had fruit juice.
When you come to visit Iaşi, you must not miss the Palace of Culture. It is huge. It includes the Museum of History, which is fabulous. Also, the National Theatre deverves to be visited, it is the first national theatre built in Romania. Iaşi is a historical and cultural city, you will find a church or a memorial house in almost any street.

Dragă Paul,
Tocmai m-am întors din vacanţa de vară şi iată-mă scriindu-ţi despre aceasta.
În primul rând, mi-am însoţit colegii de clasă şi am mers la Marea Neagră. însoţiţi fiind de profesorul nostru de matematică. Am dormit în corturi şi în restul timpului am făcut plajă şi am înotat în mare. Ne-am distrat foarte bine, deoarece ne-am făcut tot felul de trucuri unul altuia.
Apoi, am plecat cu părinţii mei în oraşul Iaşi . Cazarea a fost minunată, vila avea şi o piscină şi o grădină frumoasă ascunsă în spatele câtorva brazi, astfel încât atunci când nu vizitam oraşul, înotam şi ne bucuram de sucul nostru de fructe de pădure.
Când vii să vizitezi Iaşul, trenuie să nu ratezi Palatul Culturii. Este imens. Include Muzeul de istorie, care e fabulos. De asemenea, Teatrul Naţional merită să fie vizitat, este primul teatru naţional construit în România. Iaşi este un oraş istoric şi culturalvei găsi câte o biserică sau câte o casă memorială aproape pe orice stradă.
Sper că vacanţa ta a fost cel puţin la cel de plăcută ca a mea. Scrie-mi curând.
