Life in Africa is as difficult as it's seen on television or on the internet. There are many families who struggle to live a normal, daily life and barely have anything to eat or drink. They don't have places to stay other than improvised shelters for a few nights. They are poor as a nation and as much as the media advertises it, nothing is done.
On the other hand, what keeps them alive and pretty well is communication. They stick together as people and help each other out with anything they can. They understand the idea of not having what you need and do not wish it upon others. They have a lot more values than we do. They understand life and cope with it better.
Overall, life in Africa is difficult, but it is also better in some ways. People are better, even if the way of living itself isn't.
